Privacy
This page explains the main data used by Catalyst Play to operate games, player progress, leaderboards, and analytics.
Last updated: September 8, 2026.
Player identity and game progress
Catalyst Play can create a pseudonymous player identifier stored in first-party browser storage such as cookies or local storage. This allows supported games on Catalyst Play subdomains to recognize the same browser without requiring a real name or account.
Gameplay data
Supported games may send gameplay information to Catalyst Play, including game events, scores, levels, achievements, XP, streaks, challenge completion, and timestamps. This information may be stored in Cloudflare D1 and used to provide leaderboards, recent-game history, progression, and platform features.
Analytics and infrastructure
Catalyst Play uses Google Analytics on supported pages to understand traffic and product usage. Catalyst Play is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure, which can process network, security, and request information necessary to deliver and protect the service.
Browser storage
Cookies and local storage may be used for player identity, game state, preferences, and analytics-related functionality. Clearing browser storage can reset locally stored progress or create a new anonymous player identity.
Third-party services
Third-party services used by Catalyst Play are governed by their own privacy terms. These currently include Google Analytics and Cloudflare services used for hosting, security, databases, and delivery.
Changes
This notice may be updated as Catalyst Play adds accounts, advertising, payments, or other platform features. The date above will be updated when material changes are made.
